Training contract: Facilitate ‘Help children in situation’ workshops

Following the training “Facilitate “Help children in situation” workshops” you will be able to organize and facilitate workshops to teach groups of maximum 10 people how to help children use their natural capacity for emotional regulation in situation.

This training is open to Tipi professionals who have completed the training to teach “Help children” to individuals.

The teacher training is organized in the following way:

  • The trainee facilitator organizes a “Help children” workshop on behalf of the “Tipi trainer” (with 10 participants) and attends as an observer or, alternatively, attends as an observer of a training organized and facilitated by the Tipi trainer.
    • Following his/her observation, the trainee facilitator drafts a comprehensive and detailed narrative thread for the workshop which will be validated during a meeting (in person, by Skype or by telephone), by the Tipi trainer.
    • If the trainer considers it necessary, s/he may ask the trainee facilitator to revise their thread or to observe a new workshop.
    • The trainee facilitator organizes and facilitates a “Help children” workshop supervised by the Tipi trainer who validates the facilitation during a “teacher training meeting” to conclude the training.
    • If the Tipi trainer does not validate the facilitation of the trainee facilitator, s/he may, upon approval, provide the trainee with a personalized training plan.

Budget required for the training:

In France, in 2017, the Tipi trainer remuneration amounts to 2,500.00 euros (this may vary according to country)
— 700 € is payable upon confirmation of the training project (before the observation of the workshop by the trainee facilitator)
— 1,800 € Is payable at the first workshop session facilitated by the trainee facilitator.
The trainee facilitator will also pay for the travel and accommodation costs incurred by the Tipi trainer, if any.

For certain countries (in Africa, Asia, Latin America) the cost of the training fixed between Tipi and the trainer may be reduced, depending on the social and economic context of the country.
To benefit from the reduced rate, participants must provide evidence of their nationality or of their residence in the relevant country.

1/ The professional training “Facilitate ‘Help children’ workshops” gives you the right to:

(*) Professional training in the relevant course.

(*) Use the « Tipi » logo and name, which are both protected.
To enable effective and consistent communications about emotional regulation, the right to use the “Tipi” logo and name is granted to you personally and not to any professional organisation and your use must comply with the graphic charter made available to you.
Furthermore, the name “Tipi” must not be used in any domain name or in the name of any other group or application on the Internet (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube videos etc.). Similarly, the “Tipi” logo must not be used to identify a private or commercial site or to identify any other group or application on the Internet. Any such use is subject to the prior written approval of the Tipi association.
More generally, you undertake to comply with the General Terms and Conditions in effect at:

(**) Post your professional contact details along with a photo in the directory of emotional regulation professionals trained to facilitate “Help children” workshops on the website.
This service is free for the first year after the training, after which it is renewed upon completion of annual supervisions.

2/ You undertake to:

(*) Faithfully use the teaching methods and materials provided during the “Facilitate ‘Help children’ workshops” training and to use the latest versions available to you.

(*) Work within a legal framework (registered activity) and a physical environment that is suitable for facilitating ‘Help children’ workshops.

(*) Charge the public prices in effect and posted at and provide students under 25 with a 50% discount.

(*) Record all trainings, store the recordings for one year and, upon request, provide them to

(*) Accept to have a Tipi trainer present during all or part of a workshop as an observer.

(**) Attend an annual supervision starting the year following your training.
Supervision days are organised regularly and will help you stay up-to-date and validate your practice.
Participation in the annual supervisions is required in order to benefit from all the rights granted upon completion of the training.
Supervision days are provided for a fee (see the conditions directly with your trainer – 350€ in 2017).

(**) Participate in an annual meetup for facilitators to help develop the trainings provided and to guarantee consistent teaching methods and ethics amongst all the facilitators.

Annual renewal of your listing in the directory of facilitators posted at: is conditioned upon attendance at these meetups.

Updates to the training contract
As our approach evolves, it is our aim to provide all professionals trained in emotional regulation with an offering that is as consistent, comprehensive and beneficial as possible. To this end, the latest version of this training contract will apply to all professionals trained by the Tipi association, regardless of their training completion date.
